The Small Change Fund is a new organization providing small grants to local, grassroots groups across Canada and leveraging funds for grassroots grantmaking around the world. They recently approached the Social Actions team for strategic advice on how to include individual Canadians in their grantmaking process.
With their permission, we've brought the conversation into a
discussion forum on the Social Actions blog to encourage as broad a range of insights as possible.
In that forum, you'll find a brief description of their program, a short series of questions, and an open invitation to share your insights and suggestions about the grantmaking process they'd like to create.
Whether your interest is as a future donor, potential grantmaker, nonprofit tech expert, or simply as someone who wants to encourage organizations like this one to engage more people in the grantmaking process --
